I was on and playing my second character slot "Anton Schulie" Prior to server down time. It was probably a half hour to an hour after the servers came back up that I finished playing mass effect 1, mostly because it kind of bugged out and froze on me, that game did that once before. So I restarted the ps3 and decided to play Dust again. as soon as I try to get on before it does the little load thing where it loads the single yellowish orange bar I get this pop up saying "Data file updates currently unavailable. Please try again later" It's been doing that ever since. I checked the forums and noticed some people having a similar problem and I got a possible solution of deleting the game save data. That did not work. I then got on the irc channel and SirMeode generously gave me the suggestion of starting in safe mode and restoring the file system which I did. Still no luck. There are other suggestions out there that deleting and re-installing might help as others have stated that that did not work for them. I'm posting this here as per [CCP] Nullarbor. I hope this helps as it is all the info I can think of. Thank you for all your help and hard work and thanks to all CCP, I hope this helps resolve the issue. |

Bumping because it's still not letting me in game, and there is still no solution or feedback from CCP. If there is anything else I can do to help on my end please let me know. I know this is affecting multiple users so hope a solution is found. I also know with the cap being what it is and with man peoples schedules this can be a set back for many of us testers affected by it. |

Another bump, problem still persists. Is it something on our end? Or is it server side? Has this problem been resolved for anyone that has experienced it yet? |

Ok so I finally said screw it, was tierd of waiting all day. I finally just deleted the game and reinstalled. That seemed to have fixed the problem. My suggestion to anyone else still having the problem is first reboot in safe mode, Do option 3. restore file system. Then finally delete the game and re install it. That should work. |
